I am blessed

Not of deed or tongue

I have not achieved a great feat

I speak only my native language

I am blessed

Not for humility or wisdom

I have boasted of myself

I still have much to learn

I am blessed

Not because I’m great

Only because God is

I am blessed

Of life and understanding

Jesus paid the price for me to live

I know He holds the answers

I am blessed

Of mercy and grace

God’s mercy has set me free

His grace has given me a home

I am blessed

Of peace

I have cares, but no worries

I am blessed with love

The greatest blessing of all

For I have touched love

And I know It’s touch

I am truly blessed
